The both have a Master's level education. PA's generally DO NOT need a supervising physician present to practice.
Although I do not work at this company, the general answer is that NPs have Masters level education and training and can, in many states, practice autonomously without supervision by a physician. PAs, on the other hand receive Bachelor level education and must have a physician present, except in certain circumstances, in order to practice. NPs can prescribe meds on their own, PAs must write under the physician’s license.
