My manager lets me make decisions on my own when i feel that we have a special circumstance. Recently they implemented a new bonus structure that makes the environment feel competitive in a good way. I am excited about the opportunities for me.

Great place to work

Have been able to leverage my hard work into better positions in the company. The onboarding was easy, I have gotten regular promotions as well as pay increases. The company has fun events after hours like basketball or soccer games. Its a good place to work.

Good co workers, clear goals, unlimited over time

Very productive and fast paced and some days fun.

If doesnt seem like this experience warrants a 1 star review. Did you come to anyone with your concerns? Unfortunately we cant control the actions of customers, but we try to set good boundaries if anyone does anything disrespectful. We have actually “fired” customers, even recently, when any concerns were brought to management. Sorry you felt this way about working at Aggressive Appliances as we do try to promote those that show up and work hard.

Great company to work for!!

Great company to work for! I started as a helper like everyone else. Even though I had experience! Had to prove myself and what I was worth! Climbed up the ladder in no time! Feel like I belong here! Family based company! Everyone is nice and outgoing and up beat! If you’re starting in the appliance world this is definitely the right place!

Was not impressed with staff

At first was really excited to work for this company but after 2 and a half years of employment i realized they really only care about certain employees others are dispensible at any moment

Great place but little opportunity for career growth

All in all, the environment itself is great, the management team is always available and helpful, and there is plenty of opportunity for overtime if you are reliable and want it. I was simply hoping to advance into a different role at some point with more responsibilities since it's a growing company and I have more than sufficient knowledge and skills to do more.

Have you approached management about wanting to advance within the company or change roles?

Working at Aggressive was like working with Family. I still miss them.

At Aggressive Appliances I learned a lot about so many different things. The people are very family like, if I had a car problem or forgot my lunch, one of my co-workers would step-up and help. If i had to take an emergency phone call while speaking with my boss, he would say; "We can talk later." But I was also challenged to grow and succeed. If I had an idea to make a change or try something new to improve efficiency, that was okay. If I could make it happen, it was acknowledged, I really liked working here and probably would have stayed forever but I began to feel like that fish in the fish tank that will grow as big as his environment. If I want to grow more, I need a different environment.

People and benefits are wonderful.

Must be able to teach yourself new things. NOT FOR THE LAZY

very professional, very organized. very good place to work.

Aggressive Appliances was a very productive workplace. It was a wonderful place to work and grow. My job incuded shipping and receiving product, inventory, scheduling, oversight of pulling product for delivery, staging and loading, keping new updated product on sales floor, removing out of date product back into inventory. I was also responsible for logging returned or damaged product.I was also charged with the oversight of storage of all product as well as removal of damaged product from the premise. i handled the upkeep of all equipment, tools and outside maintenance.

Paid vacation, medical benefits, off on weekends, family oriented company.

I learned alot of useful information to be able to work in an office environment and customer service setting.

Excellent opportunity for learning and experience

A typical day at work included coordinating with manufacturers' representatives for the return of damaged appliances, improving already established processes currently underway, overseeing a network of 33 computers, and creating Excel documents to reduce personnel hours required for the Accounting side of the office. I learned how to order appliances, return appliances, stock appliances in the warehouse, simple accounts receivable and accounts payable, and dealing with customers effectively. The hardest part of the job was having a full-time job and going to school full-time. It obviously was my choice to do this, but that realistically was the hardest part about it. The most enjoyable part of the job was looking at how much money the processes I was introducing was saving money for the company.
