Great company
This is a great entry level position to get into the medical field. Especially if you are interested in going into the medical field of any kind. You get to network and understand the hours that come with being in this field.

There is a lot of down time with this job and traveling, but they are working on getting specific people in certain areas so not everyone has to travel long distances.

Ok work environment
The environment is fine and there is basically a guarantee for over time. However the drawback to this is that they are never fully employed they never hire enough employees trying to get by on the basic number you never feel like you are not working.

Management is Horrific
The job is pretty basic. Pick up soiled equipment, clean it, make deliveries when you get called by a ward, make sure par levels are stocked. As far as how the place is run? Dear Lord. I saw my manager literally once in my final 14 months there! I was part time, working evenings and weekends. The full time day staff does virtually nothing and seemed to take joy in dumping on and leaving the vast majority of the work for the part time evening folks, all of whom worked full time day shifts at other employers. Incredibly understaffed which burnt out the staff and compromised patient safety. Ask for 2 hours off after working there for 3 years? Ain't gonna happen lol. Well, unless you're buddies with the coordinator. Then you can come in late, leave early, pretty much do as you please. Then they were surprised when I turned in my 2 weeks? Lol. Favorite episode while I was there? I called in sick from a bed in the ER at the hospital we serviced. I was told I needed to call around and find someone to cover my shift... from my ER bed!!! LMAO! That's the kind of treatment you should expect from management....
