unless you need the money....RUN AWAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE AND DONT LOOK BACK, you get no support, management sits on their butts and expects floor supervisors to do everything.

Best place to work

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Largo, FL - September 22, 2023

This is by far the best job I have ever had. The management were always available if you need help. They help you reach your goals and actually take the time out to get to know who you are. I am pretty shy but they found a way to make me feel comfortable and to step out of my comfort zone. I only left do to where I lived at the time. They created a family for us while at work and that's the best thing you can ask for.I will forever love and appreciate Airgas and the people running the place.

A good place to work overall

I enjoyed working for Airgas in Key West overall. We were a small store so I was responsible for managing the warehouse and deliveries. The job was very labor intensive but I did enjoy it.

Terrible management and policies

If you are looking to be severely micromanaged, then this is the place for you. Management is terrible. They do not care about their employees. No work on the weekends, but at month end the workload piles on.

Good place to work

Airgas it's a good place to work my location is in Madison AL just can't get any hours. If you looking for a 6hr to 8hr job it is great for that alot of home time this is the one. Unfortunately I love my checks on Friday so with no hours mean no good check on Friday.

Good place to work

Good place to work. Biggest complaint are the cameras in the truck facing the driver. Pay is ok. Good benefits and paid time off. Dont work weekends and home daily. 10 to 12 hr days.

What is the best part of working at the company?Not being micromanaged, hours, electronic log books, descent driving trucks.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Corporate has so many rules, it makes it very hard to enjoy your job. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?It’s the drivers(outside)vs. the inside(counter) people and it’s ridiculous. At my store, you were treated differently if you didn’t learn things in a certain time. There is a lot to learn. Watch out for the people that have been there more than a year. Corporate have put cameras in their trucks and it changed everything for the worse. Before the cameras it was a descent job.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Not wanting to go to the office, wishing my truck was already loaded and ready to go.

I would say it was a great 18 year career. Ended by a new set of management styles. One of which was try to change the way we think.
