Biased and patronizing management tend to create a toxic and unpleasant work environment. Periodic evaluation of performance is arbitrary and whimsical. Attrition rates are high due to constant pressure from the management to maximize PNL gains. College interns' half life is short because they are treated like some raw material. As a result, FINRA rule violations are frequent, which clearly underscores what priorities the firm has set for itself.
