Healthcare is a demanding job especially home health and hospice. Alacare is also demanding as they want the best care for their patients and are good stewards of medicare spending. So expect to do a lot of work.
But why would anyone expect less for a nurse.

Answered by Alacare Home Health & Hospice

There is no sick time. Monday-Friday employees get about 5 weeks of PTO per year but you have to use that any time you are not working (inclement weather, Holidays, vacation). 7 on 7off employees don’t even get a week’s worth of PTO per year. Yes they work a week and off a week but still things come up such as weddings, graduations, etc that can’t be scheduled around your work schedule.
