Kind employees and residents, but overworked due to being understaffed frequently
Management is great! Just underpaid for the energy required to do the job. The CNA’s call out to frequently causing too much work for those who are diligent workers. It may be like this with other companies , but a shower aid or an on call aid would be greatly appreciated.

Run for the hills
This place is a joke. They are most likely to fire you just before your sign on bonus is due and sign you up for shifts you didn’t agree to work. patient care is less than mediocre management is hiring non licensed aides to work the floor and turning away seasoned cnas, dangerous patient to staff ratios. None of the staff manages to show up even close to on time. Management treats you like you are an inconvenience for bugging them to begin with and you are completely disposable. We are all pulling a doubles here just to keep the building halfway afloat RNS included
better luck anywhere else

Laid back.
Along with a flexible schedule Alaska Gardens has a laid-back work environment. You're allowed to be as structured as you want. The nurses are caring and great team players.

laundry attendant
I was doing this job and another both part time and was glad when I got a full time position. I enjoy doing my work and making the residents lives better for them.
