Kind of all over the place: sometimes early open shifts, sometimes mid and others times you're closing so it makes it very hard to plan your life or schedule around this job because the hours are never the same from week to week

Not in my store there wasn't. My grandfather passed away. They wouldn't even let me attend his funeral. Because I was scheduled to work on the same day. The store only had about 5 employees for the whole schedule. So there wasn't any other option except miss my grandfather's funeral and work instead. The company has a very cold culture. They don't care about their employees only the profits coming in.

They are set but they are all over the place and split between everyone. One week you might have 2 6am-2 shifts and a 10-4 and like a 9-5 then next week your shifts will have completely changed. People were good about switching and picking up and covering for others though.

Yes, as long as you let them know your schedule ahead of time.

They allow flexible work hours for college students but make you feel like you will be replaced if you take the flexible schedule. Its definitely frowned upon.
