For associates, as early as 5am to 9:30 PM at the latest. Your shift will be from anywhere between those times. Store managers I'm not too sure.

The hours start as early as 5am, even 4 am in some rare situations. You can expect to be there until at least midnight or later on really busy days. Don't expect any 15 minute breaks which you are suppose to get.. you won't have time. Don't you expect to have time for a lunch or dinner meal either, not on really busy days. Because most likely you can't take this either.. not if the store is to busy, you won't have time. I really wish this would change at Aldi. The staff need time to unwind and relax.. or even nourishment to eat their food and get energy. As a shift manager, I can almost guarantee you never have a complete half hour without being called up at least once every couple minutes, its almost like you get no lunch break at all. This company, Aldi's really needs to invest more time in making sure staff breaks and lunch/dinner meals are given to staff. Its the law in most states, more importantly part of employee wellness which is seriously lacking at Aldi right now. The hours are way to long and this could be resolved by hiring more staff in the stores.. something which this company stubbornly refuses to do for some reason?

If you average 20 hours a week that was full-time with benefits.

The hours are very unpredictable. Your schedule is subject to change in the middle of the week. Sometimes you won't even be informed this change has occurred. Planning your own personal family life outside this job is extremely difficult. There isn't any predictability or consistency. The other really bad thing is that you will basically be unable to use any of your sick or vacation time. There aren't enough staff available in the staffing pool to cover. So basically good luck ever trying to take a 'sick' day - be prepared to come into work anyways even if you are very sick or even contagious. Truck has to get done and that's the first priority not your health. Sorry to be blunt but those are the facts of working hours here.
