it is a great culture and fun place to work. hard to not enjoy when you are dealing with toys! the co-workers are great. the management - do not trust. they lack leadership and strategic thinking. they do not balance their budget from the top and within their departments. i saw a lot of wasted dollars. had they managed their budget and not threw away money into needless projects they would be a profitable company. lots of big opportunities that are missed.

The company is not a bad place to work. I enjoy working with the customers, sales reps, and other departments. Things can be difficult in customer service, as the director (that is what they call the manager of customer service) doesnt really know how to be a boss. There are times she can be extremely negative, not only with her own team, but with other departments as well. That creates problems and hostility towards customer service. She just doesn’t know how to articulate her frustrations with people, and there are times where she is just downright nasty. If you can tune that out, this isn’t the worst place to work. She just makes it impossible.
Cool people. Learn cool things about toys. The customers are cool. Smoke breaks.

Due to a constantly changing management team, there is a lot of unrest among employees. It's a great place to work because the people are nice and the benefits are amazing but you have to be able to let your work speak for itself and adapt to a constantly changing environment.

The staff is the best part about working for Alex. The salary is just not suitable for today's economic living. Really hard to get advancement because most management teams have nothing to scale the workers performance and milestones off of.
You're not micro-managed, and understanding of family issues
Low employee expectation, low pay, no advancement, minimal raise and or no bonuses.

Calling on past due commercial and Mom and Pop accounts. Collecting payments via credit card by phone. Account reconciliations via posting credits and/or debits where necessary. There was nothing hard about the job. Follow up is the key to my success.
