It's a good starting company for anyone who needs to get established but it's not a good place to look for a long lasting career. It's hard to advance, many departments don't want you to internally transfer. The raises are not enough and even when you have more of a work load you get paid the same. Taking time off was a challenge because you couldn't take the same time off as anyone else in the department and you needed to have PTO accrued before requesting it months in advance. The workplace culture used to be amazing which is the only reason so many people stayed, but now that the company was sold the workplace environment is terrible and many people have left.
The recent acquisition has changed everything structurally. Tools needed to do your daily job are now very difficult to compete because the protocols have changed and no one cares to update other departments. It's highly frustrating to work in an environment you feel you are in knowledgeable in. When you ask questions, you receive incorrect information or "let me get back to you" emails that are not followed up on for weeks to come and by that time we'll, you just wing it yourself- but then get reprimanded for not following protocol lol this place is a joke.
Accounts Receiving Research Associate (Current Employee) – Canonsburg, PA – October 22, 2017
The department I was in with the company was great! However, it was not stable. Went into work one day to find that a meeting was called, and everyone was given a few months to find new jobs as the company had outsourced to India. The corporate office is still running out of Florida, but our office and all of it's employees were dismissed without warning.
Friendly Staff, Relaxed Work Environment, Free Coffee and Hot Coco
Started off fun and team building, work hard play hard mentality which was great
EDI Operations Associate, Level II (Former Employee) – Jacksonville, FL – August 10, 2017
Initially it was great, until bought out by another company and investers. Management has always been a small issue, as i am not a fan of favoritism and promoting friends who are undeserving of a position.
Team builders and company events
Favoritism, Brought out by another company created a huge change in company culture
Appeals and Research Associate (Former Employee) – Jacksonville, FL – July 16, 2017
production goals daily. management not always friendly and available. Employee week was the most enjoyable part of the job, fast paced. Not always able to complete your job due to certain restrictions in obtaining information
AR Rep (Former Employee) – Jacksonville, FL – July 14, 2017
This company is not what it use to be as told to me by older staff. Unfortunately with new management and ridiculous expectations the turnover rate is probably 80 percent. Lots of outsourcing to other countries. Only to be reassured in company meetings that they are not outsourcing. Sad.
Great place to start to obtain inbound/outbound call center experience, at a higher than average hourly pay rate and great benefits.
Scheduling Associate I (Former Employee) – Jacksonville, FL – April 20, 2017
Work Performance does not play a huge role in advancing within the company. Unprofessional Leadership. Great benefits and starting compensation is relatively fair. On boarding/Screening process needs improvement. If you work hard and keep your head down, you'll be told to engage more. However, engaging with Team Leads and fellow management is not a great idea if you want to have professional, work relationships. I found out a lot about my supervisor that I did not wish to know by "engaging" as they recommended. Great place to start off in for inbound/outbound call center experience at a higher than average hourly pay rate.
Short Term NOT Long Term
Compensation and Benefits
Unprofessional Management and heavier workload if you produce
Align Networks is a great place to work. They promote from within, creating opportunity to advance. The company takes the time to train you in other departments not only to assist, but it gives you a chance to see what direction you are wanting to go within the company. The management to is really good at relaying information regularly.
