Concierge in Orange County, CA
on June 5, 2021
Got hired as a temp. They will lie to you and say you are doing great and are looking to keep you permanent then the next month say you you have been doing so many things wrong without warning then let you go as soon as the new hire starts. Don’t go to HR cause they won’t do anything even after talking to them. Management gets mad if you don’t do OT. They micromanage every little thing even going to the restroom and question why you took long. Favoritism and gossip is big for lead and management and it is obvious. They try to bring you down instead of lifting you up. They get annoyed and make faces when you ask for help which is discouraging you can ask anyone from member services or concierge. I do not recommend this place for a career. And don’t think they will hire you permanently because they will work hard to not let that happen and get a new temporary employee instead. And management is often wrong when asking for Medicare related things and they blame you for telling patients the wrong info when it is the info they gave you. Not worth the stress. Find something else and hope this helps.

Management does not give a clear direct, does not shares in the department and communication is poor. No standards on professionalism and no clear understanding of policy and procedures

This place is a joke, The management are so poor there is zero communication the only good thing is they have good doctor's. This place is a revolving door everyone is hired as a Temp then after 90 days is up they lay you off. Please be careful of the Vegas locations.
Appeals and Grievance Coordinator in Orange, CA

Very stressful job. Management requires too much for the limited amount of employees. The department needs staffing. The company benefits are great, the pay for this department is nice too but for the stress... there are other departments worth considering in the company.

For this position I have much flexibility and am self directed most of the time. Many of staff are remote workers, but are always available by phone.
