this job was very intense. It involved lifting large amounts of steel rods and packaging them. This company is currently out of business and is no longer on the market.

Not great...
Manager (Former Employee) –  Denver, COJanuary 16, 2018
No chance for advancement here. There are opportunities to do a project well, because very little has changed in 25 years, and advance your career outside the company but not within.

Certainly a company that would grow if not hindered by owners. Not a company to try and attain self betterment. Definitely needs restructuring. Not a lot of positives

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Lancaster, PASeptember 14, 2015
Industries served are highly price sensitive. Difficult to compete with Importers. Communication between departments could be better. A number of good employees trying their best in a highly competitive industry.

Sales Administrator (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INMay 1, 2015
I very much enjoyed my tenure at AATP.
My position was very fast paced & time management was imperative.
My supervisor was and is a wonderful man. When I started in this field 5+ years ago, I knew nothing about manufacturing or the steel industry. He taught me everything I know today.
Pros
casual attire

Most definitely not in the top 100 places to work in Pa
Machine Operator (Former Employee) –  Lancaster, PANovember 16, 2013
Company does not give reviews or raises. Company has a very bad case of favoritism. Majority of production quotas are unattainable. Overall bad atmosphere. The best part of the job are the people you work with everyday(not including the supervisors). The place is a trap, meaning that once your in its hard to get out. The knowledge you gain by setting up their machines is non-transferable to any other job unless your in the threaded rod industry. At the end of the day I would not recommend this job to anyone
Pros
You get a paycheck
Cons
Bad environment, mismanaged, dirty, unappreciative managers
