Dispatcher/Coordinator/CSR (Current Employee) – Tempe, AZ – August 2, 2018
Working for this company has been a new and interesting experience. Staff members are friendly, the environment is clean, and you certainly talk to some interesting characters. This company, as all others, has its ups and downs, but for the most part it is a positive experience and is quite enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this job to others. Being a with All City Towing has certainly been an amazing experience!
Snacks in Corporate, Lunch break, clean facilities and fast paced
Dispatcher (Current Employee) – Tempe, AZ – August 1, 2018
The owner says "We are professionals in an industry with an image problem." I find that to regularly be the case. All City Towing goes to great lengths to do business above board and as professionally and transparently as possible.
Business has many employees but could still be called a small business, Which lets employees get to know their coworkers, managers, and owner on a more personal level.
Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) – TEMPE – July 18, 2018
The company is growing I have been here 7 years and have moved through out the company. I love the fast pace of work and no day is the same as the day before. I think that the people here are great and make coming to work very easy. The towing business is not made for everyone but there is never a dull moment in the industry and always something new to learn.
Admin (Current Employee) – Tempe, AZ – July 9, 2018
The company is focused on growth and the upper Management works hard at bringing in new business. There is always something to learn, as new positions open. Benefits, including a 401k, and pay are the best in the towing industry and the policies/procedures keep it structurally organized. This industry does take a certain type of person to handle the day to day stresses, but overall it's still a positive environment with great coworkers that help each other.
Admin (Current Employee) – Tempe, AZ – July 3, 2018
The towing industry can be tough, and no one is happy to have their vehicle towed, so the job is stressful sometimes. I have always felt supported by management and work with a great team of people. There are always new challenges, things to learn, and opportunities to grow. No company is perfect, but this company is constantly evolving and making improvements. Customer service, safety and professionalism are a high priority.
Good work environment with positive/friendly coworkers
Call Center/Dispatch/Admin (Current Employee) – Tempe, AZ – July 2, 2018
Turn over rate is high but the employees that have been around for a long time know what they are doing, are willing to help and are great to work with. Stressful at times with angry customers but that is to be expected. Management and HR are always willing to help. Not a livable wage forever but there is room for advancement/raises.
The position can be very stressful but rewarding. I never have to worry about the repetitiveness because every day there are new challenges or opportunities. The workplace is happy and an enjoyable place to work.
Human Resources/Payroll Manager (Former Employee) – Tempe, AZ – June 28, 2018
Lack of leadership, management is focused on the wrong doing versus guiding and lead by example. This is no room for advancement and there is to many exceptions made for protected employees meaning favoritizm
Night Dispatcher/Yard CSR (Former Employee) – Phoenix, AZ – June 19, 2018
this company rips people off by the charges they charge they are looking to put money in thier pockets and they dont look out for the people who have had their cars towed to the yards. they have gone agaisnt police contracts .
Customer Service/Dispatcher/Coordinator (Former Employee) – Phoenix, AZ – June 9, 2018
I did like working there. It's a good place to work at once every body gets on the same page. There was a little drama and the people that has been there the longest they think they know everything, but they change alot of ways to handle calls.
Has gifts and the like to give incentive and bonuses
Need to help more and try and do what the employees do
Tow Truck Driver (Former Employee) – Burbank, IL – April 4, 2018
towing cars from place to place helping people on a daily basis is a great feeling. i learned multiple ways to tow stranded vehicles and a lot about cars i didn't know owner is very caring and always trying to keep his drivers working. winters were pretty tuff, but with the right gear and work attire it made it fun. most enjoyable part of this job is being appreciated. great company just want to move up the ladder of life
Tow Truck Operator (Former Employee) – Tempe, AZ – January 6, 2018
To sum it up, the company is very organized and safety conscious. the pay is just not up to par. I made 800 to 1000 a week in Nashville, working the same hours here. 2 weeks pay 800.00. not a livable wage for a Tow operator.
Not bad if you need a job and are willing to work.
LIGHT DUTY FLATBED DRIVER (Former Employee) – Tempe, AZ – August 22, 2017
Pay rate was $25 per tow, with a $500 per week guarantee. Typical week pulled in $600 - $700. I never made only the minimum (working nights and weekends).
Rumors swirled that dispatch played favorites. It's impossible to know for sure, although there were definitely drivers that made more than others and dispatch played a big role in farming out the work. Doesn't matter if it was true or not...being paid by the job inevitably causes bad morale because you're not in control of your paycheck; someone else is. I prefer an hourly wage.
Good training. You mostly work with cops.
I had a manager drive by me once while I was working on a job. He jumped out of his car and grabbed a broom and started helping out. I really like a manager who's not afraid to get his hands dirty.
They're hiring. Even if you have legal problems.
Long hours. You're scheduled 50 hous a week and run over all the time, No time-and-a-half. Not sure how that's legal, but it is.
Dispatch (Current Employee) – Tempe, AZ – May 12, 2017
Been with the company for years. Managment hasn't really ever been top notch but has gotten worse over the past 2 years. 24/7 operation. No paid holidays. No shift differential and no bi lingual differential.
enjoyable workplace with a constant change of scenery
Driver (Former Employee) – Milwaukee, WI – January 11, 2017
Pleasant management and excellent work schedule. Work load and type was always changing. Work was never boring and there was always plenty to do. It was a pleasure to represent this company to the customers we helped daily.
