I have been with the company for over three years now. I have seen 1 pay bump due to the cost of the client's contract going up by .50 for all security staff. There is a "bonus" given out every year apparently but if you ask about it Allied management will ignore you or tell you that your site/state does not qualify for it.

Are you serious? I'm sorry, but the idea that ANYONE in "North America's Largest Security Company" would care enough about their dedicated employees enough to even consider granting a raise is quite laughable.

It all depends on the locations, in Portland my Allied site is a mandatory Union Site, part of that is better health insurance, monthly union dues and a yearly pay increase based on the cost of living, also whenever you get a pay bump at the site that is your new permanent rate, if asked to work Overtime at another site you are paid an overtime rate based on your base pay from your regular site, if you are moved to another site permanently you are paid at the same rate... the downside of this is that if the contact is lost or you’re requested off the site, you will usually be terminated (really asked to resign so it’s not a termination within your record) with a recommendation to another company as it’s easier than trying to find you another site that’s willing to pay your union mandated rate, if it’s higher than average... so if you’re assigned a new site, make sure that it’s a union site (if unions are even in your are)... I moved here from Florida 6 months ago, Oregon has unions for security specialists, Florida definitely does not....
