PCA Personal Care Assistant (Current Employee) –  Belchertown, MA , Amherst, MAApril 11, 2016
I have work for this company for many years. Why? I don't know.
People come and go, there is not much room for advancement, and management changes often.
Pros
If working in the right house lots of activities with clients.
Cons
Can lose your hours with-out notice, Struggle to find more in other houses.

DDS and Mental Health Advocacy Organization.
Developmental Specialist (Current Employee) –  Amherst, MAJune 27, 2013
A typical day of work consisted of personal care, IEP/ADL skills, medication administration, cooking, transportation and community activities. I learned a lot about PICA Disorder. Management and staff were always willing to help when needed. The hardest part of the job were working third shift because of attending school. The most enjoyable part was being happy to come to work everyday.
Pros
Helping others that cannot help themselves, being an advocate and caring for individuals.
Cons
Scheduling
