What is Alorica sick leave policy? How many sick days do you get per year?

Read 23 answers

  • You don’t get sick days. Even with a doctor’s note.
There are not only no paid holidays, there are actually no holidays off at all, period.

You accrue about 2 work days worth of PTO throughout the first year of working there, which is impossible to actually use because you don’t get that PTO up front, it’s earned in tiny increments throughout the year.

If you get sick and are out of the office, you get 1 point per day - 9 points and you are terminated. These points can also combine points from other ‘instances’(of which there are MANY) where for example: if you fail to keep your average call time under 29.5 minutes you get 1 point per week for “not meeting expectations.” Again, 9 points and you are terminated. If you turn it around, the points don’t drop off for 90 days.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Alorica does everything in it’s power to hire you, burn you out in 6 months so you leave or get terminated, then rotate in a new set of unsuspecting individuals to go through the same process. Rinse & repeat. This is their Modus Operandi.

    Consider working anywhere but here.

  • I was told that you could accrue paid time off but the attendance and such was done like a point system but I think that's more of something they have in their back pocket if they decide they want to fire you it's not enforced

  • No vacation, and if you get pregnant, you need to put in disability papers to meet all your appointments in order to keep your job.

  • 2 per month

  • None -you have to use accrued vacation time (That dont start until you been there 3 months

  • I believe you got about 11 sick days after your first 90 days and they worked with you if you needed more or had any emergencies come up.

  • We have no sick days off 0 days

  • I do believe you get 3 sick days a year

  • You get an actual rate for time off.

  • It just changed, if you miss more than 10% of your shift in a 6 month timeframe, you are out. Doesn't matter what the reason, unless it is FMLA.
