Being a woman. Men doing the same job are making twice as much money. Women are treated like second-class citizens. They have a few females in management positions, but most women are treated poorly. You are called names if you stand up for yourself. It's a horrible place to work if you are female.
Never see your family
Learning to keep your mouth shut. The management only cares about a certain group of employees. Working them more hours while the workers do all the flatwork to home early. Worst place you could possibly work for.
The management could care less about your Life

If the hub is located 45 minutes out of the city, you spend a lot of wasteful time behind the wheel. It's hard on the trucks and ultimately more gas for the company to shell out! It's a shame that they wouldn't put the hub closer to the downtown area, they could get so much more work done and if a client needed something last minute it would take 3-4 hours to get that product to them!
Being unethical is considered good business. It was very much a mentality of telling the customer this what they'll get and they'll like it. Period. End of discussion. Next.
It certainly was not my way of doing business.

The managers, the lack of training, the faulty broken trucks and the overall sense of favoritism.
The most stressful part about working at Alsco. Is the heat during the summer. They also change the schedule. When hired you may be told that you will work M-F 5am-1pm. It is a lie! You will work M-Sat between 5am-6pm.
