Operations (Current Employee) – Culver City, CA – March 25, 2018
Working at Alta is a faced paced cut throat place. It will mold and shape you but be careful it doesn't destroy you. Lots of politically motivated moves. and many CEO's (3 different CEO's in a 1 year span).
If you got a job here, good luck.
Decent pay, and expeirence
May be good experience or bad experience so flip a coin.
The Co-RN’s are good and nice to work with, stressful managment staff; benefits are not that good but at least we earned our PTO hours.
Registered Nurse (Current Employee) – Norwalk, CA – October 19, 2017
Working in ALTA is stressful, Team Nursing is not effective; health insurance is expensive; no match for 401K; the patients there so stressful and so with the administration people. Some doctors there have bad attitude.; too much politics! Understaff, lacks RN’s; They always have registry RN’s or LVN’s which make it more stressful and more headache! Although some of the RN supervisors are very supportive; Co-workers are very supportive too and nice to work with. The camaraderie with the staff is relaxing.
Monthly ice cream day, free lunches on some days
Team nursing sucks; Healthcare is expensive, no matching for 401K
Director (Former Employee) – Los Angeles, CA – October 15, 2017
The hospital is trying to turn itself around but Corporate management can't seem to let the hospital do its job. The hospital needs funds pumped into it so they can pay a decent wage and give the entire place a renovation. There are some people who put their heart into the job only to get kicked out for "not fitting" in.
no 401k, terrible management, terrible work environment
Senior Workers Compensation Supervisor (Current Employee) – Culver City, CA – June 8, 2017

Authorizations/Case Management (Current Employee) – Norwalk, CA – May 2, 2017
There has been no incentive and no morale lifting activities. Procedures are cloudy. No accountability specifically at a director level. All the quality people who faught to keep employees happy have left and had no support at the executive level.
