It's not an awful place to work, but you probably won't be able to advance in your career here, as it is a family business with a lot of preference shown to family.

I haven't been with the company long, less than a year but more than a week, but in the department in which I reside you're gonna work on a variety of products, and not everything you do/learn will carry over from one job to the next. Management does not seem to care about this, in fact they really honestly don't seem to care much for their workers at all despite claiming to be a "family." The ho...
HVAC/ Power Assembly Team lead in Jeffersonville, IN

I loved my time with amatrol. I learned so much in my time there. Great staff, so many good people in one area place. Solid work. Company is growing so little chance of being laid off. Good benefits. A bit demanding of their leadership crew. I saw and ended up being one of the many team leads to take the position and get burnt out quickly. If you’re just a builder you’re good. Don’t try to move up...
Production Worker in Jeffersonville, IN
on January 9, 2023
The work is simple enough and not too stressful, but they've been dealing with running out of jobs for people to do on the production floor from a combination of supply side shortages and end of the year slow downs on new work. Management seems to be a mess on trying to gaslight people into thinking otherwise all the while promoting from within and never listening to new outside ideas.
CNC Machinist in Jeffersonville, IN

I am a former employee and loved this company. I never wanted to leave and I only left for a higher paying job. I tried to come back, but I could not get a similar pay offer. Looking back it was a stepping stone and I gained some experience that I took with me. I really enjoyed my time there.
