What is the interview process like at Amazon.com?
Asked January 15, 2016
There is no interview for t1 employees that is the entry level warehouse associate , you apply then go in for a drug test and they give you a start date. For t3 positions which are supervisor positions. It is a two step process a interview with someone outside the department, they will either incline or decline you for the position then the manager of the actual department decides if you are a good fit or not. once inclined you don't need to do that step again. Then T4 positions and up have multiple in person and phone interviews.

It’s a fairly simple and fast process. You submit application and take an easy test. A virtual interview and a drug test were required at the time I was hired. Then if approved job training information is sent and you become an Amazon employee.

Depends on them. The group I was in was rapid tested and we didn't know till we were in the room. (By room I mean the room before the rapid test room) So we just needed to wait for the background checks. Took a week and a few days.

Mkc6 starts at 15.00$ hour. Reduced shift back half (12 hour shifts, Thursday-Saturday) will give 2.00$ more for night differential. So if you are in dire straights for quick money you can apply for that. I worked on dock and I didn’t have to worry about rates or time of task (TOT). Manager was not so great but overall not awful.

Yes they rehired me even though i was terminated a year later through a staffing agency though and at that time i was pregnant so i was having unbearable back pain after a week i tried to quit but apparently i get a letter of termination and was told i was being terminated for no call noshow even though i put in that i was leaving the job due to labor pains. Anyway even though i have a bad reputation with amazon im still somehow eligible for rehire a year after that. I defenitly wont try to mess that up again.
