Claimed to be flexible but never approved my coverage. Always scheduled shift that clashed with 1st job

You can request off any day you want as far in advance as possible but you’ll probably still get scheduled on that day. I also got scheduled several times during school bc the managers assumed I lived in the school district closest to the theater and had those days off. Then it’s completely your fault when you can’t find someone to fill your spot
Never worked the same hours. No paid time off or sick pay. If something comes up, its on you to find someone to cover your shift and if you can't, oh well. You'll have to show up or risk termination.
I tried requesting a day off for a required school event 2 weeks in advance and got written up when I called in after they scheduled me anyway
Very flexible hours. Worked at AMC through college. Some shifts I’ve worked: 8a-4p, 12p-8p, 5p-1a. You HAVE to be available on weekends. Company policy. Other schedule requirements vary according to your immediate supervisor.
Working hours range from 4, 6, to 8 hour shifts. Typically separated as morning, mid and night shifts.
They say they are flexible but really aren’t.
Very flexible managers are nice and lenient about the days you call off.
