What is the work environment and culture like at Amcor?

14 answers

  • Maintenance dept- culture is pretty upbeat. The work is pretty intense so we all, with the exception of a few, support and look out for each other.

Operators are different. Some are hardworking and warm hearted. Some are lazy and disgruntled.

Supervisors, for the most part are level headed but they undergo a great deal of stress and it shows sometimes.

  • If you enjoy a total lack of integrity and respect for the hourly worker, Pauls Valley plant is for you!! Come get treated like a used diaper

  • TOXIC and dead end. No promotions and no good jobs for silly peons. Just the boys club or outside people get those. You just go die in a production area.

  • Pauls Valley is a lie nest full of snakes and excrement. Salary hands get paid while we slave

  • Do your work and be quiet and you will be fine.

  • An absolute laugh. There is a culture here at Pauls valley and it is of a Russian prison or Cuba. Stay away

  • Most co-workers are not very smart which is frustrating. Some are unfriendly. Anyone decent leaves within a few months.

  • Terrible. If you don’t kiss up or bow down you get squat. There is no upward movement, no concern for the “actual worker”. The people on the floor are just trash to gm, his shil the hr manager, kiss up maintanence manager, and so on. Distribution and accounting are on the up and up but that is it
Pauls Valley going from 2019 to 1984

  • If you work in production you DO NOT matter!! Sad FACT,

  • Vary stressful you are just a number to them nothing more and don't make friends there because they will just stab you in the back when its good for them
