Gossip from management
Patient Care Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAMarch 31, 2019
I do not recommend working here. Management is unqualified and poorly trained. PCCs are expected to do everything but they are paid the least. No annual reviews or raises. Hard work rewarded with smoothies and Starbucks gift cards. Management will tell everyone else what you’re doing wrong, but won’t tell you. High turnover with people walking out and never returning. Management won’t help when team is understaffed.

Money is what matters here. As long as patients are happy, it doesn’t matter if the staff is.
Pros
Normal business hours
Cons
Management, No annual reviews, no professional development, low pay

Dishonest management
Clinic Administrator (Former Employee) –  New York, NYNovember 15, 2018
Full and complete loyalty and dedication are expected but will not be offered. Stability and family environment is portrayed falsely. organization is about customer service, not innovation, healthcare or helping patients. this cash cow is all about money and will not help mentally ill people in need of assistance who cannot pay the rising prices that keep dr amen rich
Pros
Good salary
Cons
high stress

Awesome place to work!
Clinic Director / Outreach Liaison (Former Employee) –  Reston, VANovember 7, 2018
Amen Clinics is an amazing place to work. The CEO is extremely supportive and the organization focusses on helping our community improve their overall health brain function though healthy eating, and functional medicine along with offering SPECT scans which make Amen Clinics a unique clinic for their patients. Christ and people centered! Lovely organization to be a part of.

Would not recommend working here due to high turnover
Lead Patient Care Coordinator (Former Employee) –  New York, NYJune 3, 2018
I enjoyed my job with providing quality patient care, but I would not recommend working here due to high turnover. Plus, management does not know what they are doing and the environment is very toxic as there are family and friends that work here, so it provides favoritism and cliques. If you are not in a clique or liked and follow the state rules you will not last long.
Pros
Providing patient care
Cons
Short staff, short breaks, overworked, poor management

Dysfunctional Company
Vice President Marketing (Former Employee) –  Newport Beach, CAJanuary 31, 2017
Very difficult place to work; turnover is high; marketing the brand often means fighting through egos.

The best part of working there is seeing actual patients that benefitted from treatment protocol.

Location: Newport Beach

Relaxed atmosphere with enough challenges to keep things interesting
Desktop Support Technician (Current Employee) –  Reston, VAApril 7, 2015
Working in IT, my experience is likely a bit different than everyone else in the office. But the clinic has a comfortable volume of patients, which means I'm not overworked and from what I can tell the doctors and PCCs have a comfortable workload. Company likes to promote "brain health" through diet, exercise, and stress reduction, so the atmosphere is very relaxed and the company occasionally orders healthy food during meetings. Corporate offers a $20/month reimbursement for gym use. Fantastic view if you have a window office.
Pros
Gym reimbursement, relaxed atmosphere, nice view
Cons
Network is down more often than it should be; Bestnotes is awful

n/a i do not recommend working here for anyone. the work/life balance is non-existent. The ethics and morals are constantly called into question, and the corporate office is extremely disorganized as a whole which makes it very hard to set ourselves up for success

Fun workplace where doctors and staff worked well together
Patient Care Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Reston, VAJanuary 14, 2014
As a receptionist, my responsibility was to tend to incoming patients by answering questions, billing, and processing necessary documentation for services obtained. My co-workers and supervisors were open and energetic individuals who worked well together. My experience at Amen Clinic taught me to have patience in stressful situations and maintain good relationships with clients and staff.
