If you have the skill and can show up on time every day. You will have a good experience. You need to communicate clearly. Must be able to shift focus from one thing to another often.
Machine Operator/Blue Card in Three River, Michigan

I would not work there if they made me president of the company. To many chiefs and people who think they know everything. Bosses neve listen. Because they already know it all.
Production Worker in Bluffton, IN

Back when it was metaldyne it was still a lot of overtime but the management wasn't all that bad and you got along with most everyone there. Now management is driving it into the ground, preaching about safety and quality being #1 and then forcing you to run equipment you've never ran or even seen ran with absolutely no training. Thats not even the half of it. management leaving early on fridays to go to the bar and not supporting you on the weekend even though you work 19 days straight with only 2 off. No appreciation either in the work place.
Machine Operator in Royal Oak, MI

You will never be able to plan a weekend in advance. But you can make alot of money. You will basically either be living there or waiting to be laid off.
Machine Operator/Assembler/Foundry in Iron Mountain, MI

Overall it is a great place to start your career. Advancement is the tough one, I guess its who you know instead of if you earned it. Great pay and overtime if that is what you wish to do.
