Horrible job. Low p a y hard work. No training. Managers don't help or guide. Under staffed. Food is horrible and nasty.. and staff in kitchen reuse food.Nothing is first class. Rooms are not properly cleaned. Chairs and carpets soiled. Couldn't wait to get off. 9 staff bailed during last cruise

Not a good company.

ACL does not care at all about their employees. They work their employees till they burn out and are ready for news ones to come in and burn them out. One of the worst companies to work for.

Typically a day at work consists of 3 unpaid half an hour shift breaks to have your breakfast lunch or dinner settled.

I loved the staff and trainees. The last minute instructions and travel details to keep us safe, ready, organized and prepared.....Though training was long and hard. I look forward to the 7 month opportunity to prove a reasonable expense for advancement in the Cruise Lines industry.

Poor internal management. Turnover rate is just as bad. However, actual job duties and day-to-day structure is okay.

Poor internal management. Turnover rate is just as bad. However, actual job duties and day-to-day structure is okay. Great if you’re looking to save money and can adapt to an environment with minimal privacy.

Pros

Free room and board, great transition job money wise

Cons

Often poor management, little privacy, minimal breaks
