My store had a pretty big thing with favoritism, and only wanting to give you $8 an hour to do floorset. Towards the end of my career there, my manager attempted to give me an .80 increase because she was so desperate to have me do floorset. I hated floorset, so I worked my booty off to get it done and get out of there. The store turned our air off, and it got really hot in there. It was miserable, but they always wanted me to do floorset. I quit not long after that, it’s not the worst place to work(my store anyway) but it’s not a place you want to work if you’re looking to climb the chain of command.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at American Eagle Outfitters?
Don’t bother working for the store in college station if you want to be treated like poorly ever since i quit i literally stopped shopping at american eagle my experience was so bad in the small amount of time that i worked there that i refuse to spend my money on the clothes anymore.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make American Eagle Outfitters a better place to work?
I Would Offer Better Employment Options To All Associates And Increase The Wages My Employees Were Being Paid. Also Offer More Hours Are More Flexible To Associates
