The background is more thorough and strict than any employer I have ever worked for. All information must be verifiable down to the letter or your initial offer will most definitely be rescinded. You can’t really blame them since they are an international financial services organization, do the need to be cognizant of who is being hired in is very understandable. However, if it is something you really want I would suggest having all of your “t’s” crosses and “i’s” dotted.

Its more extensive than some places. Make sure that the employers listed within the last 5 years are verifiable.

The company that does the background screening is HireRight. For most positions they will verify criminal history(federal & local), employment, education and drug screen. No credit check. Be prepared to take drug screen within 72hrs from the start of the background process. If HireRight cannot verify info themselves they will ask you to show proof so, have proof of employment (paystubs/W2’s) and education (certificates/diplomas) readily available. The entire process can take 2-14days. Caution: If info can’t be verified you won’t get the job.

Background is made through HireRight. They will check everything so I recommend you to speak with the HR team so they can help you. Also be aware that this process can take from three to ten days depending if HireRight is able to quickly prove all your information.
