I would not quit any job and assume I am eligible for re-hire. Transferring to a different location or position works the same way. You are allowed to transfer only if you are a current employee that has been in their position six months or longer. However, in my situation, I put in for a transfer to one clinic for full-time and was placed at a completely different clinic only as PRN, but then worked full-time anyway without benefits. The moral being: AFC can own you in the state of Alabama unless you are willing to leave the company. So be on guard about what you are promised and get it in writing.

You can transfer to another if you choose to. We also have two new clinics, one in sevierville and the other on Kingston Pike at Northshore that are owned by one guy and those clinics are not associated with our Alcoa or Cedar Bluff clinic. I would assume you could apply to either of those as if it was a totally different company.
