About us
AMR is the largest medical transportation company in the U.S. providing emergency and non-emergency services in more than 40 states to more than 4 million patients annually. In addition, AMR offers 911 dispatch services, Mobile Integrated Healthcare services, on-site medical care at theme parks and to large businesses and offers stand-by services for – more... events such as concerts, sporting events and music festivals.

AMR also has a national contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide ground and air transport to supplement federal and military response to disasters, acts of terrorism and other public emergencies. The contract with FEMA covers 48 states divided into four zones.


AMR focuses on upholding their position as a leader in the industry helping to develop and keep up with the latest trends and advancements in the field. They offer nationally accredited EMS education through their training institutes, including National College of Technical Instruction (NCTI) and IHM Academy of EMS. They also offer new healthcare training opportunities to keep up with our innovative new practices, including Mobile Integrated Healthcare.
