Culture is very challenging. Long time employees have developed a self preservation attitude. Heavy work load with minimal management support. Strong turn over in upper management has left a disheveled structure.

Very bad management
Manager (Current Employee) –  New Albany, NJJune 25, 2019
The CEO does not care about multi source business, he is too busy with Daiichi Sankyo.

A new head of quality left the company secretly after a few months. The new head of regulatory left after two weeks from joining. Follow their advice and bounce.

But if you like free coffee and only being able to afford a bicycle then American Regent is for you.

Collaborative and innovative culture
Quality Systems Specialist II (Former Employee) –  Columbus, OHMarch 20, 2019
American Regent (PharmaForce, Inc.) has a very collaborative and fast-paced environment. The nature of the product line demanded high levels of safety, precision, accountability, process validation, and were borne from an intensive quality management program. While such an environment can be stressful, management promoted a culture of transparency, collboration and open-idea exchange to enhance performance and continuously improve processes and, by extension, the product line.

Young, growing company
Research and Development Chemist II (Current Employee) –  New Albany, OHJanuary 4, 2019
There are a lot of great people here, most are fresh, younger, and are aggressive in getting work done and getting it done correctly for the first time. The compensation lacks compared to competitive, but they try to make up for it with bonuses, fitness reimbursement, and other small things. It's gotten better than it was.

Productivity and understanding of packaging
Production Line Worker (Former Employee) –  Shirley, NYNovember 9, 2018
I worked in the packaging and production line. I was nervous at first cause every one that I worked with was much older than me but they all treated me with respect and understanding. They also teach you a lot about what they produce and the labs and titles behind the company and it was very interesting.
Pros
the new knowledge and production
Cons
the short breaks

Wonderful people to work. Work as a team with multiple departments. Room for growth in certain departments. More of a company where you do your job and go home. Work life and home life.

Poor Management in every aspect of the company.
They Belittled you, harass you, and tell your replaceable.
Do not have children and be employed with this company because you will not be able to have time for your family working here.
The Union is absolutely garbage, it does nothing but collect money and lets the company abuse the workers.
Pros
Pay, Healthcare
Cons
Union, Management, Breaks

Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Shirley, NYAugust 27, 2018
In the Customer Service Department at the time, there was only 1 male employee out of 9 people. Things can get crazy working with my female coworkers, especially when they start gossiping.

Enjoyed my Colleagues
Bids and Quotes Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Shirley, NYAugust 19, 2018
My colleagues at American Regent are hard working and are willing to help anyone they can. Management needs to be more structured and communicate with the employees. Management also needs to have more of a pro-active structure then a reactive structure. This would increase the employees morale.

I was fortunate to have a supervisor that was willing to show me different ways to help me with my job duties and responsibilities.
Pros
My colleagues
Cons
Communication within Management to employees

Horrible
Production Worker (Former Employee) –  Shirley, NYJuly 27, 2018
Micromanagement at is highest. No room for advancement or growth. Workers do all the work while management gets the credit. Management are not suitable for the job due to their lack of experience and morality and skill. Little pay for the massive amount of work they want you to perform. Huge constant turnover with different directions. Poor communication all across the board. Managers fueding with each other. Dictator leadership Too many senior people leaving. No on the job training, or constant updates to keep constant with industry. Resources are not available to do your job and your boss never ask if you are ok or not. Too many crews. Upper Management seems lost and confused. Too much favoritism and friends of the bosses getting promotions. Core concepts and expectations of the new president is not followed. supervisors and Managers don't know what they are doing and getting paid big bucks while the actual workers work. Bonuses are extreme for upper management. Don't work here! You will not grow at all. They will leave you stuck in the same place forever. Team concept is not there. Everyone is cutthroat.

Poorly managed and low paying. Avoid if you can.
Associate (Current Employee) –  Norristown, PAJune 27, 2018
Extremely poorly managed and low paying for low to mid- level employees. Ineffective and highly confused management is over compensated. Avoid if you can find a better role with possibility for advancement and some level of job satisfaction. If you are about to lose your house then maybe apply.
Pros
can work an early shift
Cons
Management, compensation, culture
