Do NOT LET THE PAY FOOL YOU! They have multiple employees that struggle with computers so, WHY ARE YOU WORKING HERE?!Corporate brown nosing and nepotism is ENOUGH to make you leave!

I enjoyed the time I spent working for American Specialty Health. I advanced quickly and the job taught me some things about medical billing which helped in my career. The job was fun and engaging and all of the coworkers were super cool and respectful. It had a lot of great benefits, like a vanpool, discounted health insurance points earned through exercise, and even a deli which served delicious coffee drinks and lunches. The only downside was the pay I was receiving at the time. In 2014 I was only earning $13.50 an hour, which seemed low even for the time. I am not sure what is their going salary these days.

Fast paced call center type job relating to insurance benefits. Job consists of taking calls from members and practitioners in order to verify insurance benefits, co pays and deductibles. This sounds fairly simple except for the fact that there are quite a few different plans and the information is found on all different types of software making it extremely confusing and stressful in the beginning.

Job description was pretty confusing, I wasn't really sure what I would be doing until a week into "training". Training was okay I guess, they show you how to work the systems and find information, but you won't really know what you're in for until you start taking calls.

Didn’t ask me much during interview. Just wanted to know how I heard about them. Then the interview turned to just 2 people talking about each other’s personal interest & weekend plans.
