Amazing company to work for and they truly care about their employees
Management (Current Employee) –  Tucson, AZMarch 26, 2019
American Technologies is an amazing company that truly cares about their employees, giving back, celebrating hard work with employee appreciation events. American Technologies has never been slow since I joined the family, very fast paced and busy. If you like to work hard, American Technologies will reward you with the possibilities of advancement and personal growth. The hardest part of my day is never having enough time, the days fly by when you are busy. The Moore family recognizes hard work and dedication but encourages a work/life balance, they understand the importance of family.

If you're ok being an admin for the rest of your life, this place is for you!!!
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Hayward, CAFebruary 20, 2019
Short & Sweet. ATI IS A REVOLVING DOOR. They don't promote within. They keep you by telling you what you want to hear. They always talk about promoting "Change" "Bonuses" you name it they've promised it. UNLESS YOU'RE RELATED TO SOMEONE, you will always be an admin. They'll promise you a few months, or maybe even a year. One admin was here for 10 years. Also, expect to do all of the PM/PD's work. They're really "busy" not coming into the office. Good job if you're single with no kids or rent to pay, but nothing to make a career out of. Healthcare sucks too. Employee & kid is almost $360 WEEKLY.

Hope this helps.

Great job - depends on mangement
Customer Service Specialist (Former Employee) –  Riverside, CAJanuary 28, 2019
There are various department within ATI,
and most of them are great and have great room for advancement.
The culture of the company is great.

However if you're going into Call Center Rep, beware, there is a HIGH turn over rate. favoritism, and nepotism, and a lot has to do with management.

Health benefits are offered, but they become very expensive.

A typical day includes processing invoices from vendors for specific jobs. Entering new leads that come in and schedule the technicians to go out and check out the job.

Finding new ways of solving problems too dry areas or by removing mold. Hardest part of the job was wording in another area were we could not come home till the project was completed. The most enjoyable part of the job when the job was completed and signed.

It doesn't matter what you do, what matters is with whom you dine.

There is a very high volume of calls and it is extremely stressful. However, you are paid quite handsomely.

Lacking in Leadership
Administrative Support (Former Employee) –  Elma, NYApril 30, 2018
There is very little leadership. What leadership is available is undermined by the ownership team. The company is extremely disorganised and there is little employee job satisfaction. The turn over rate is high for such a small company.
Pros
