Home Health Aide (Current Employee) – Brooklyn, NY – May 2, 2018
Americare inc was a good company overall , free hha training courses. The pay rate was ok. But the staff is very rude. The coordinators don’t tell you the type of case your accepting. I was being given the wrong address & lost. Very excellent benefits
Billing Manager (Former Employee) – Brooklyn, NY – December 22, 2017
I would never refer anyone to work there. Unless they're back was against the wall and you just needed a check. Its 8-5 mostly, everyone is to themselves, everyone sits in a cubical and you cant speak to your coworkers lol. Seriously lol
Productive and a fun place to work a bit stressing but that is every where
Service Care Coordinator (Former Employee) – Brooklyn, NY – August 12, 2018
I left Americare because of medical reasons. Other than that I loved the job. The work environment is great and very professional. The people that work at Americare are great and help others out as much as they can. Team work is what helps this company be great. Americare has a great team
Everyone at Americare are great and fun people to be around
Home Health Aide (Former Employee) – Brooklyn, NY – June 29, 2018
Bed bugs infestation to clients home is common. When it is reported nothing is done but replacement of HHA worker to the infested sites. No information is given to the new HHA employee and I had to spend more than I earn to replace my bed, coat and have my home fumigated for bedbugs on two separate jobs because of bedbug homes.
twelve hour shift is possible for financial stability, and you can work part time if you are in school.
You might end up with bedbugs problems, and it may take months to get a less adequate position

Clerk (Former Employee) – Brooklyn, NY – August 11, 2015
I was very excited to start my career in the healthcare field. I was told I was a temp employee on my job interview which I did not mind and later found out I was not. Changing plans on a daily basis seems to be a trend in this office. AmeriCare as a company seems to "have it together", but the managers/supervisors of specific departments DO NOT.
New employees, do not expect to be provided proper training, you will be thrown into the cage with little knowledge and understanding.
If you are looking for a temporary job with friendly coworkers in a nice neighborhood this is the place for you. If you are looking for a place to grow with and are looking for a healthy salary, this is not the place for you.
Home Health Attendant (Former Employee) – Brooklyn, NY – August 8, 2018

LPN/Nursing Case Liaison (Former Employee) – Brooklyn, NY – March 13, 2018
I really loved working fro Americare. It was a very relaxed laid back type of job and I was employed with them for 6 years until they merged with another company due to financial reasons and they new company felt that LPN positions were expendable. If it had not been for that I would have never left this company.

If your client case close you can be out of a case for three weeks or more. If you do replacement cases you are not paired with clients that may understand you. You have to be able to communicate in all languages.
