It is possible but the chances are slim. If he decided to join the program then he will have to live on the campus. Plus he will be doing a lot of traveling that requires him to live in other states. I'm only speaking on behalf of the volunteer portion for this program. I'm not speaking in terms of full or part-time employment that they offer separately.

If there is a need in your community for an AmeriCorps member, then yes, but if not then you would have to travel or relocate. All AmeriCorps members serve at a specific host site, you are not able to work from home.
