I would treat my valued employees a lot better than they do and the supervisors that caused problems and couldn't do there job would be removed
If someone quit take the leadership role and find out why. And when someone is qualified in applying for jobs posted and especially when they have previously worked there and are denied because their not the right fit you have a breakdown in your system that needs fix. Work work work work on your lack of Leadership skills .
Restructure HR department maybe and educate them more on what it takes to really do the jobs and stop using the phase not the right fit when you get qualified people and you use this saying. Ametek higher ups need to ask questions to the person who quit why they quit and maybe you'll know why things run the way they do. Use that leadership and take action. Above all else follow you own policy and stick to them until they are revised.
Improve company policies, be proactive not reactive.
