Moral is typically terrible at the various camps. Management has no concern about this or they would not allow some of the things they do.

The kids are the easy part of the job. Dealing with this company is like dealing with one big dysfunctional family. There is no appreciation for anything. There is no support for anything. They will kink you on your pay whenever they see the opportunity so you cannot even depend on your paycheck.

Working hours are reasonably and the camp where I worked could be flexible.

When was the last time you visted a camp? Do you have any idea about the conditions and lack of resources? Do you realize how bad morale is and how much is going on behind the scenes to warn teachers to stay away? Get involved! Be present.

Staff accrue 1 day per month during the first year. No school holidays (many think because it is a school it will follow the school holiday schedule, don’t be fooled), only government recognized holidays.
