QC CHEMIST-II (Former Employee) –  New York, NYJune 19, 2018
It's a nice place to me. Made a lot of friends there, still in touch with them. Manager will support you when needed, also asks you to work extra hours. That's acceptable. A lot of people work with passion, and help each other.

QC Scientist (Former Employee) –  Brookhaven, NYMay 22, 2018
Good job to break into the quality/pharmaceutical industry

However, employees are overworked and underappreciated. Salaried employees are treated as hourly employees.

Management works 5-6 hours a day.
Pros
Good experience
Cons
Poor work life balance, highly disorganized, hectic environment, poor management

Great place to work, but unless you have a Bachelor's Degree, no room for advancement. Really like all the people as they are like a second family, but if you are coming in as new, it will take time to feel like part of that family.

Great atmosphere
Cons
no advancement

This place is decent start for anyone with little to no experience. Upward mobility is tough as there are too many silos among the different teams. Great room for improvement

They state in the interview that hours are Mon-Friday 8-5 but that is not usually the hours, its longer. They also state that they hire in-house for advancement and they only do that very seldom, it has been always outside applicants that are chosen.
Pros

Cons - Individuality discouraged. Merritt overlooked. Growth is not possible. Even some office staff is unprofessional. Expect to be placated and used until your limit has been reached.

Pros - Good benefits, was motivated by the work itself. There are good and kind people in the company but those people are dealing with similar frustrations.
