Senior Director, FP&A (Current Employee) – Brookhaven, NY – November 16, 2018
Amneal went from a small, private company to much larger, public company. The company has experience growing pains and staffing has not kept pace with the additional demands of SOX and external reporting.
Scientist 2-Analytical research and Development (Current Employee) – Brookhaven, NY – October 22, 2018
its a good transition company if you are starting out from college you can learn a lot from that stand point. different instruments and test if you have a good manager who doesn't want you doing the same test every day with the same instruments. otherwise if your planning on expanding this job is not for you its very stagnant and people within the lab plus management tend to speak in their local languages all the time without the care for others.
Network Security Administrator (Current Employee) – Brookhaven, NY – October 13, 2018
Amneal Pharmaceuticals is a great company with strong IT initiatives. Rapid company growth has been great for the IT team as we are very busy with deploying new technologies and completing very important projects.
Senior Director - BD & Corp Strategy (Former Employee) – Bridgewater, NJ – September 12, 2018
Amneal offered a steep and a rich learning environment where you acquire a diverse skills set and a real sense of accomplishment. I truly enjoyed the work I did there and learnt a great deal. The CEO is sincere , dynamic and a visionary. On the flip side there was rampant favoritism which caused some senior leaders to behave badly due to their sense of job security creating a pretty bad work culture. If you are one of the lucky ones who is favored by the management then you have a good life at Amneal. Interactions between colleagues were not always respectful.
Rich work experience. Exposure to many deal types
Favoritism, lack of respect during interactions, arbitrary decision making by Executive board.
Administrator (Current Employee) – United States – September 4, 2018
Constant reporting Lack of Communication and planning stepping on each other toes. Open Budget policy for items/small projects Nice work environment/people Well Controlled with security Low pay compare to competition
QC CHEMIST-II (Former Employee) – New York, NY – June 19, 2018
It's a nice place to me. Made a lot of friends there, still in touch with them. Manager will support you when needed, also asks you to work extra hours. That's acceptable. A lot of people work with passion, and help each other.
Supply Chain Analyst/Customer Relations Specialist (Current Employee) – Glasgow, KY – May 11, 2018
Great place to work, but unless you have a Bachelor's Degree, no room for advancement. Really like all the people as they are like a second family, but if you are coming in as new, it will take time to feel like part of that family.
Scientist/Lab Tech (Current Employee) – Brookhaven, NY – March 6, 2018
Management could learn better leadership Pay could be way better Easy to see that people are miserable here High Turnover in people quitting Company is from india so most people here are from india which is cool however they mostly speak their own language 90% of the time which isolates alot of the non-speaking/english speaking personnel

They state in the interview that hours are Mon-Friday 8-5 but that is not usually the hours, its longer. They also state that they hire in-house for advancement and they only do that very seldom, it has been always outside applicants that are chosen.
