What is the best part of working at the company?The pay that is it, and Paid Time OffWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?The nursing supervisors, cinnamon, straighter’s, and upper management does not manage the clinical sites well. The supervisors and managers interpersonal skills are poor. Therefore, the moral of the company is not great.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Depends on which clinical site you work at.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Rooming patients, checking, patient vitals, giving report to providers, answering phone calls, calling the pharmacy, documentation, working on prior, authorizations for imaging in prescriptions, and doing everything that the providers forget to do.

I’ve worked at numerous locations/hospitals/clinics in the past. Ampla Health is a place I genuinely love to work. You can tell they actually care about their employees and the community. Fair pay, great benefits, and room to advance in a growing organization.

Horrible work environment and horrible management!

Terrible place to work. They schedule you on the weekend even when you are not able to work them and then will write you up when you can't make it to the scheduled time. There is no room for advancement and the management is a JOKE!

Medical Assisting at Ampla Health

The pay was decent but it is thrown in your face anytime you make a complaint especially about management, HR doesn't take complaints seriously, Site Admins gaslight you and yell at you, tell you if you don't like it there to go and find somewhere else to work. PTO is granted based on favorites, when people quit staff is blamed, very cliquey and its one side of the building against the other and the receptionists against the MA's. MA's have NO room for advancement. Health insurance is cheap for employee but if you add kids and spouse you make pennies. Insurance was good but no one wants to take it anymore because of so many claims unpaid. Free lunches from reps sometimes and there are some good providers there but the management is the problem especially the narcissistic ones.

This company has great work life balance and respect their employees. They allow providers autonomy. I love my field again after working here. My patients appreciate the care they are given.

Clinic can be hectic and busy at times. Patients can be demanding at times. Some co-workers can be a pain to work with but overall not too bad. I just avoid them.

I loved working with the doctor I was with. He was really caring. They tend take advantage of their employees when they are really short staffed. It's a great place to get experience for sure.

FQHC's are amazing to work for. Providing services to the community- You go home feeling like you made a difference. Ampla Health does not deny care for inability to pay. The salary and benefits are great. Extremely busy, but worth it. Your day on the job at Ampla goes by quick.

Great company to work for Ampla Lindhurst, they have very hard working supervisors at that location. They asst. in patient care frequently

They will take advantage of you as much as they can & god forbid you ever have an HR issue. They will sweep it under the rug & if they like someone one more than you trust me you’ll know. They say they’re a company for the community & they’re more a company that preys on the community. Just don’t.

My overall experience at Ampla Health was good. The staff was for the most part professional. The overall pay was good. My work hours were great, I worked Monday through Friday 8-5. The benefits were wonderful. The only downfall was the commute, and the fact that I was moving farther.
