Why I work here

My role feels purposeful for our population, who are especially finding life isolating and resources fewer during current stressful times. We are a light for people with disabilities and their families and caregivers.I am always learning in my profession and feel the workplace culture in this agency is one of passion and "all in". At times it takes a little extra effort to engage some families, who have experienced struggles with the disability system in Colorado, but when we make a difference and establish relationships, it all comes together. Professsionally, also with layoffs, when one door closed, another opened and I was able to reunite with families i have seen in the past.

Truly one of the best companies out there

On a typical I am challenged but encouraged, my opinions matter, and I am part of a genuine team. I never feel disrespected and this is a truly amazing environment. My ideas for the future are embraced, and accepted. I am prepared for the worst and given the very best by this comoaby and its leaders. I am not met with an ounce of toxicity and they genuinely want what is best for me. I feel as if this is where I belong.

Angels Service walks the walk on respecting and valuing every person involved, clients and employees alike. Working for a company that sees you as a person first shouldn’t be rare, and yet it is. Angels Service absolutely sees employees as people and values their perspectives and needs. I have found amazing flexibility for my family needs during the pandemic and the ability to work as much (or, currently, as little) as I need.
