Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Veterinarian in Animal Emergency Care
It is extremely collaborative with incredible co-workers
Veterinarian (Current Employee) - Bellingham, WA - March 4, 2021
The skill of all staff members constantly amazes me and the support for each other and deep care for the animals and their humans is incredible, considering how stressful it is working in an ER setting. I love the collaborative approach the doctors take - we all help each other if needed, because at the end of the day, the successful outcome is what matters. All staff members are respectful of each other and everyone works their hardest every single day. The administrative staff is incredible, and works hard to create a supportive structure and improve efficiency and well-being within the hospital, which (I think) does the best quality medicine in the area!
Pros
Good pay and benefits and working with a top notch support staff
Cons
High volume, stressful, long hours, nights and weekends
