Processor (Former Employee) –  Moorestown, NJMarch 2, 2018
Most of the staff i spoke with when i worked there were not really happy. There was alot of favoritism going on there. The specific training for your job function was rushed.

Incredible organization with great technology, education, tools and experience. Willing to work with you if you are productive however you are out of luck if not. If you rock, they'll make sure you're a rockstar.

Run
Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  United StatesFebruary 20, 2018
For branch managers beware: The leadership will try to build their own relationships with your staff and if you ever decide to go to a different company , they will do whatever it takes to keep certain people. They will make up lies to attempt to create doubt with everyone on your staff so they stay with the company and not your team. They want to break up your team. You also have no one there assisting your branch which is why they lose branches all the time. If you are a team looking to partner with a lender I would run far from this company if you wish to keep your team intact in the future. You may arrive as one team but you will never leave the way you came. There are plenty of better entrepreneurial options out there so take my advice and keep looking.

Enjoyable but lays off every year
Processor, Disclosure Specialist (Former Employee) –  RemoteNovember 28, 2017
Company usually lays people off in November when things slow down which is why I rated the job security so low. As a processor I also felt like I couldn't take time off but this may have been specific to me. Other than that it was a fine place to work. Management is nice, but the company is still experiencing growing pains. Overall though I would gladly work there again.
Pros
Work from home, good pay
Cons
Layoffs, conservative underwriting overlays

Very poor
Underwriter (Former Employee) –  RemoteNovember 22, 2017
Management is always in meetings and no changes ever happen, processing is poor. large percentage of loans are withdrawn or declined. Even with high volume staff is laid off putting strain on remaining staff - apparently financial instability in the company. 10 years ago company stated looking into 401K match and current new hires are told the same thing but it never happens.
Pros
Remote ability to work
Cons
Constant pushing of work, difficult to contact management in meetings, numerous layoffs

Underwriter Correspondent, Wholesale (Former Employee) –  Mount Laurel, NJNovember 21, 2017
The culture of the company is family. They have balanced the work/family perfectly. Remote positions are available in all departments. They actually listen to the employees on ideas.

Good company with good structure. CEO is great and very intelligent. Fun perks and company events. Family feeling but very cliquish. Management needs additional training.

Good place to work however no room for advancement. Business has declined significantly and I am worried I may be laid off as I am the last one in. Management etc is ok.

clerical (Former Employee) –  Mount Laurel, NJOctober 21, 2017
If you have a family or an independent life outside work, this is not the place you want to work. Parameters change constantly, authorities are conflicting, and production is valued over other important considerations.
Pros
Can work from home if they like you
Cons
work life balance, low pay for clerical staff

Micromanagement at its finest
Mortgage Loan Processor (Former Employee) –  Waltham, MAAugust 23, 2017
If you are a self starter and motivated to get the job done, don't think about applying here unless you thrive while working under someones thumb. Never have I been made to feel inadequate in the work environment. The overall company has a great vibe and lovely management but beware of the local branches that do what they want to do, including encouraging fraudulent activity.

The Wholesale management is amazing. I would definitely work with them again. They are fair and subject matter experts. There's never any questions or concern that go unanswered.

Poor
Underwriter II (Former Employee) –  My LaurelJanuary 7, 2017
Poor leadership. Poor systems. They hire on projected volume that never makes it thru n them come the layoffs. As quick as they hire That's as quick as you are let go due to poor planning. Too top heavy n you have no idea who you are reporting to from one day to the next. If you are looking for any type of stability this is not the company for you.
Pros
None
Cons
Poor leadership, no raises, no 401k match, only 5-6 pd holidays and only 1 floater
