What a joke!!!
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  USAJune 25, 2018
They promise the sun moon and stars and its a glorified draw system- you owe the money back before you get any bonus. The leads ALL NON STANDARD - lapsed, poor driving record, mostly angry off people that Liberty Mutual or Esurance already made mad. Or they registered on line and have gotten called 15 times in a day by someone in Mexico untold they answered only to get a poor quote. If you make 4 sales in a day you get a candy bar- woo hoo! Carriers are leaving faster than they can keep the contacts! If you hate life apply here! Management has unrealistic expectations! They want perfect calls and then tons of calls in a day- can’t have both!

Only good if you have to have a job immediarely
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) –  Knoxville, TNMay 17, 2018
Poor leads, unrealistic expectations, they encourage you to sell insurance unethically and horrific micromanagement.
The only good thing is if you meet their unrealistic goals, you can work from home but once the new compensation plan came out everyone stopped meeting those goals

Terrible and stressful place to work.
Insurance Agent (Former Employee) –  Ogden, UTMay 3, 2018
Save yourself the time and DON’T do it. Literally everyone quits. It is an awful place to work- very stressful, the leads are awful, and you’re not compensated anywhere close to what a regular insurance agent is. Basically just expect to make the base and no bonus ever. The management is terrible, they don’t help you at all to be successful but then when you aren’t performing well they are all over you. Only nice thing about this job is the benefits. If you want to do insurance, don’t do it here.
Cons
Stressful, poor management, bad leads

Total disaster
Insurance Sales Agent (Former Employee) –  Encino, CAFebruary 16, 2018
Company kept lowering compensation for sales reps, about 90% of the employees have left the company, now they would hire less experienced low performing employees who have low living expenses.

It is hourly against a draw not hourly plus commission
Inside sales (Former Employee) –  Knoxville, TNJanuary 27, 2018
They misrepresent the pay, bonus hard to get, it's basically a $15 hr job, must sell 40 policies a month to keep your job, after you earn and repay the 2400.00 in a month of sales you will then start to earn a bonus, the pay is a draw not 15 plus commission most do not qualify for bonus monthly. very micro managed. Best is you get free training to earn your P&C license. They hire anyone, will fire you in a second. It is a revolving door.
Pros
Free lunch sometime
Cons
Under paid for licensed agent

Management sucks
Agent (Former Employee) –  Knoxville, TNJanuary 17, 2018
I worked here and after I had my child they refused to work with me on my schedule, however 3 days prior they offered a male on my team the hours I needed. We were also coached how to push ethical boundaries in sales meetings. When I brought it to managements atrention, it was brushed off. Great place to learn the ropes in insurance but I wouldn’t make a career out of working there.
Pros
Bonuses, free food
Cons
Terrible leads, unrealistic goals

Compensation is a JOKE
Sales Agent (Former Employee) –  Encino, CADecember 13, 2017
I was a top producer, and although the directer and mangers are cool people, the company is awful. The comp plan the have is only designed for people who have book of business that is already built.

Don't believe them when they say they have agents making over 100k. That was 3 years ago, and this company is going down hill fast. I quit and I was a top producer. Also, they don't care about you, they will just fill that seat with someone else dumb enough to work here.

This place is only for ENTRY level agents. Get your license here and leave. SO many more opportunities out there. This company is greedy as heck.

More that half the agents employed don't take home a bonus. at all. So you're making 15 an hour, and taking awful calls, even worse leads. First 6months-year you will NOT bonus. Then after maybe a year and a half you'll average around 500 bonus.
Pros
Free Coffee, Option to work from home
Cons
Bad leads, leads that are provided feel like your working for a collections agency. Might as well cold call., and everything else. Awful company, cool management though

if you need a job they will hire you
sales agent (Current Employee) –  Knoxville, TNAugust 1, 2017
If you need a job this will do. It is a dead end job though and they make compensation adjustments every year that reduce the amount of pay you earn. So your long term employment is rewarded with making less and less money.

Insurance Agent (Former Employee) –  Encino, CAJuly 4, 2017
Good sales are rewarded. Flexible work hours. Call-center environment and timed sales calls and breaks can be stressful. Growth is encouraged. Ethical practices.

In order to make bonus, overtime was required. Not great work/life balance., Great Co-Workers, Felt that their were "pets." who received best leads, best (easier sales) states to work.
Pros
Free meals, Parties, Sales Contest
Cons
Short, if nonexistant, breaks

SALES AGENT ANSWER FINANCIAL (Former Employee) –  Knoxville, TNSeptember 3, 2015
I enjoyed working there, only reason I left was for a better job. The typical day involved making calls, but they pay for the licensing which makes it incredible. Hardest part of the job is accepting that there are going to be clients that just tell you No, and there is nothing you can do about it. Management understands.
Pros
constantly giving free food
Cons
call center
