Make sure clients (like Kaiser) pay contract employees for every hour of extra hour of work (overtime). Clients expect contract employees to work extra hours but do not want to pay.

Offer an option with PTO built in. It would make the hourly rate lower, but then contractors will feel safe taking a day or two off here and there!
