Would not recommend
Picc (Former Employee) - DuBois, PA - September 10, 2023
If I could give zero I would. The Dubois team is terrible. Everyone talks about each other behind their backs. No one is nice to each other. And The director encourages it. She gossips about whoever is not around. All she does it talk poorly about her staff to others. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

This is not a bad job if they was organized and trained the workers like they need to be trained
Patient Information Coordinator (Former Employee) - North Carolina - September 1, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The best part of working at this company is that you work without anyone from management watching you. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The most stressful part of this job is then constantly pushing the start dates back and you're waiting weeks to start work. Also the lack of training. They say they're gonna send someone to train you and once they get you there they decide that they're not gonna send anyone and they have your coworkers training you who don't really wanna do it and is giving you task to do and just saying do it. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The work environment is very laid back. There alot of different cultures and for the most part everyone was friendly but overwhelmed What is a typical day like for you at the company? The PICs I worked with works nonstop. No one ever takes a break. They eat at their desk and never leave the office

Awesome Job
Patient Information Coordinator (Current Employee) - Pennsylvania - August 1, 2023
I have been here for over a year now and have nothing but good things to say about the company. They hiring process was easy and the work load is just right. The management and staff are all nice and understanding if something comes up during the work day.

Alright
Physician Assistant (Former Employee) - Arizona - May 15, 2023
Alright place to work in. Everybody is cordial. Workload is increasing bit by bit. Lots of foreign physicians hired. Most of them leave by the end of their contracts

Toxic Coworkers
Patient Information Coordinator (Current Employee) - South Carolina - January 17, 2023
Toxic environment with certain coworkers. Nothing done to correct. Lots of turnover. Columbia Downtown is the worst. coworkers scared to talk to management and when they do, they are written up for complaining. Explaining job changes are very disorganized and asking questions is not accepted well.
Pros
Hours
Cons
Anxiety and aggression daily

Great office environment/Bad management
Patient Information Coordinator (Former Employee) - United States - September 22, 2022
The job is great and the providers are wonderful. If you need anything from the managers who are not on site, good luck. The managers play favorites and if you have a member of your family in management, you're set and can get away with a lot. If you are not a favorite, the only support is available from the providers in your on-site office. Apogee is happy as long as there is one PIC is available...they do not care and will tell the PIC to work everyday with no time off if no one else is available or figure the schedule out.
Pros
Work load, great on-site co-workers, not micromanaged
Cons
Conflicts of interest with off-site management, favoritism

Busy for a short period.
Patient Information Coordinator (Current Employee) - Portsmouth, OH - July 20, 2022
Busy until 7 after that drags on. But it’s nice not having management there because you don’t feel them hovering over you all the time. Good benefits.

Poor MPIC management
Patient Information Coordinator (Former Employee) - Pennsylvania - July 14, 2022
MPICs don’t care about you. They play favorites. If you request a day off months in advance, you are denied because they lack coverage. Worked here for 2 years since the program began and honestly pretty disappointed

Productive and fun place to work
Patient Information Coordinator (Former Employee) - Olean, NY - June 4, 2022
I loved working for Apogee. If the hospital had renewed Apogee’s contract, I would still be with them. Providers, Management, coworkers, all staff were a pleasure to work with. Everyone helped each other and had each other‘s back. There wasn’t any backstabbing, gossip, or favoritism. Apogee is a first class company to work for. Anyone who has an opportunity to be employed by them, one find themselves very lucky. The hours are wonderful, the pay is decent, there is enough work to keep you busy from the moment you walk in to the time that you leave. I can’t say enough about Apogee. All in all, a positive experience.

Patient Information Coordinator (Former Employee) - Greenville, SC - March 24, 2022
I liked the company. The management was great. The doctors was great most of time but some of course had their days. The holiday pays was great. The work was not that hard and I caught on pretty fast.

Failing upper management. Managers (MPICS) are not held accountable. Unappreciated by Managers/Directors of PICs.
PIC (Current Employee) - Texas Gulf Coast, TX - February 9, 2022
Pros: Flexibility in life/work balance. Can leave for the day in case of an emergency. Cons: No possibility in job advancement. Your manager will tell to help other programs, even run another program in addition to your own, but with zero compensation. As a patient information coordinator, when you are hired on, you are not told that your wage will be capped. After speaking to different PIC's, I found we are all being paid differently. For example a PIC that has been working for Apogee for two years is only making $1 dollar less then a PIC that has been with Apogee for 8 years. And I found a PIC position starting out $1 less then a PIC that has been with Apogee for 9 years. While the CEO is purchasing 22,000,000 homes. Not even a cost of living raise.

flexible schedule, co-worker
Patient INformation Coordinator (Former Employee) - Wisconsin - October 13, 2021
The company is micro-managed. Very little support on site. No room for advancement and pay increases. The company and managers do not take in consideration of the PICS who work at each site and the site's individual needs. They overload us with work and show zero encouragement. The training process is a joke, they basically throw you in a position with a manual and have on the job training with unqualified co-workers.Taking a vacation puts your co-worker in a bad position because they are left working their schedule and accommodating your time off rather than them finding coverage.
Pros
schedule
Cons
Benefits, Pay, Hours, leadership/management, very little training

Consistent work with some changes but can be tedious, doctors make up for it.
Patient Information Coordinator (Former Employee) - Watertown, NY - September 2, 2021
Good pay, flexible hours depending on location, doctors can make up for the boring work. Can get tired of sitting at a desk all day though. Easy to understand once you get it.

Could have been better.
Patient Information Coordinator (Former Employee) - Texas - August 11, 2021
I worked at two locations although I loved my coworkers and my direct supervisor and my doctors. The company doesn't care about you as a person. You're just a body the amount of turnover they have shows it.

Room for Improvement
PIC (Former Employee) - North Carolina - July 21, 2021
Okay company overall but several areas need improvement. Company could retain good workers if pay and benefits were better . Better screening of potential candidates and performance reviews for current employees could lessen turnover rate.
Pros
Flexible scheduling, hours
Cons
Pay, no opportunities for advancement, no night shift differentials even though working 2 night shift hours daily
