The Beckley ARH has an lab manager that is inexperienced, lacks communication with staffing, not knowledgable about the labor laws, and is very conniving. Administration has allowed the manager to supervise their spouse. The lab department is very political and racial bias. Beckley ARH only hire MT's since they are considered non-union. The employees are treated unfairly. You never get a pay raise unless you are in management or the union. The company allows the lab managers to hire foreign techs and pay to bring them to the US to work for less pay under a contract as noncitizens. HR and administration do not address unethical issues properly and allow them to continue. The hospital is not up to date on equipment and technology. The nurses always are working understaffed. The patient satisfaction scores are low. The hospital does not provide breakfast or dinner for employees or visitors.
