Bosses suck
Bus Driver (Current Employee) –  Wood River, ILApril 17, 2019
Just an overall bad company to work for. Bosses show favoritism to family members. Lower pay than other bus companies. No good benefits. Very few paid holidays.

Route and Trip Driver (Former Employee) –  Odessa, MOApril 15, 2019
Friendly people!
Need employees very badly.
Not enough drivers to split the work load.
Trips are picked by seniority so makes it hard for new drivers to make extra money.
Some people seem to have unfair advantages to getting trips.

Dirty buses
Driver/Operator (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXJanuary 27, 2019
ABC buses are filthy inside and out most of the time. The Yard is a dirt parking lot, it is dusty when it is dry and it gets all over the interior of new buses.
When it rains the yard floods and has large pot holes. Some bus drivers drive like Speed Demons and are always passing other buses with no regards for the students safety.
No A/C in 98% of buses. Management too self centered. Meetings are used to reprimand all drivers not the ones who need to be focused on. They are Constantly looking for bus drivers. The ones that have stayed on have large egos and act stuck up.
The trainers are are the worst drivers and break all the rules, such as turning right on red, speeding, and not coming to a full stop at stop signs. But expect you to follow the rules.
General manager quit without saying goodbye, this alone should tell you not to work here.
Pros
Extra work such as covering other driver routes when calling in sick.
Cons
To many drivers are no show

Not a good company at all
Bus Driver (Former Employee) –  Huntsville, ALDecember 25, 2018
Apple bus company is not a company that you would enjoy working for. The company has no standard management at all it is unfair and you will never get the essentials of working at a place and being stress-free. most management at Apple bus company are only out for their self and family you will never get ahead nor will you get their benefits. I would not recommend Apple bus company to anybody looking for a part-time job and driving or monitor on a bus.
Pros
Nothing.
Cons
Unfair. People in leadership should not be in leadership.

Pros
Only work early mornings & mid-afternoons

Bus Driver/Trainer (Current Employee) –  Amarillo, TXSeptember 12, 2018
Some of the children are very, very disrespectful and you can't get management to help you with the situation at hand. The bus need a monitor to assist with absurd behavior but yet they leave it up to you the driver to blow your top and I assume walk out. Poor attitudes, routes and lack of empathy for drivers

Nice company to work for
School Bus Driver (Former Employee) –  Saint Joseph, MOAugust 15, 2018
It's a nice company to work for. There are always pros and cons no matter what company employs you. You need to way the pros over the cons.

Overall, this company is not a bad company to work for. If I could and had to do it again I would.
Pros
Friendly and courteous staff and managemnet.
Cons
Nothing really, If you want a negative than driving in the winter will definitely will be a negative, I guess the only Con was there wasn't any paid training.

Driver (Former Employee) –  New Orleans, LAAugust 9, 2018
The children or disrestful. The bus is hot, no AC. The routes are long traveling all over the city. Management has flip mouths and nasty attitudes. Drivers and management or messy. Bus yard floods. You have to walk in a foot of water to get on your bus if it rains. They give they’re friends the best and most field trips. They use you and abuse you then replace you.
Pros
Summer off
Cons
Not paid during summer

Very stressfull and unfair place to work
Bus Driver (Former Employee) –  AmarilloJuly 3, 2018
No chance for advancement unless you are kin to someone or in their click. No compassion for their employees whatsoever unless you are kin to them or in their click. Rules only apply to certain ones. They take care of theirs first, and if you're not one then you're pretty much just SOL. You can literally die at this job and nobody would care. They would have your spot filled with in 5 minutes and not blink an eye or give a second thought about you ever. And if you do something somebody else does it's okay for the other person but you're going to be harassed or fired. Management is very poor.
