How long do projects last and how far do techs generally travel? Also is there down time between projects at any point of the year?

A line of soldiers runs from 1 to 6 hours depending upon which uniforms items are being issued. On most days there is some down time.

Of course it all depends on the project, which can last from one to several months. You don’t say what type of tech work you do, but a field employee working for APTIM needs to be willing to travel and be away from home for months at a time. Yes, there is down time between projects. How long depends again on the projects. Adaptability and felexibility are all key traits needed when working for this company. One also needs to be capable of spending months at a time away from home—if the project or disaster you are working on demands it. In addition, a person also needs a mind set to be able to work long hours up to seven days a week for months at a time. Fortunately, you often get to work with some high quality folks.
