The training I received was basically product knowledge, which takes a lot longer than the training period, and how to answer calls. There should be much less time focused on product knowledge and answering calls and more time on the inner workings of the company and how the departments work together to fulfill a job site order or even a stock orders for the Wholesale suppliers.

Bosses don't care about employees only that product gets pushed out and makes one person do a four-person job.

In-cab camera system installed; management claims it will not be used, unless they decide to at a later date. Route planning and appointment times not properly calculated. You either have too much time or too little. Constant phone calls are required to managers and customers if behind, while trying to hurry and get there. Pay for holidays and personal time don't make sense. You are expected to fuel at factory before leaving every trip, and you are strongly discouraged from getting fuel on road. You are effectively expected to pay for your own showers, which are not reimbursable by company. Many people have left or retired. Others who stay have to take on all the extra work. The previous safety manager had a open door policy; he got fired right before cameras were installed. New regime is not so good. Kind of a sad place. First employee I met in factory told me that this company doesn't care about it's employees. From what I've seen, that's true. Not worth the time; minimum pay makes it tolerable for a little while. I recommend finding something better, that is more likely to stay open for a while.

Unless you are in a certain "click" you won't get anywhere in the company! The people that work hard every day and give it their all get crappwd on while the no good workers get patted on the back!

The work areas are often blocked, restricting ways in and out quite often most days. Fire exits are not easily accessible at times also. Not all injuries are written up like they should be, etc.
