I’ve been employed at arbys for almost 3 dedicated years. rarely took days off, always picked up extra shifts, came in extra when needed, did shifts i dreaded more than ever, and have honestly told myself soon is going to be the time i need to go. i cannot watch myself start at $8.00 and 3 years later only make $9.00 from all the efforts, long days and nights i put myself through. recently i’ve watched my family move 16 hours away and for my managers to tell me “i need to grow up”, “i need to quit relying on my parents for everything” has done nothing but put this job close to an end for me. when helping at least 6 other stores besides the one i’m currently at and can hardly even get one day off for myself to even breathe and try to get my life in my hands, it’s honestly caused nothing but a great weight and depression on my shoulders.
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at Arby's? What are the steps along the way?
It took me about 3 weeks. I applied on a Friday night and got a call for an interview the following Monday. My interview was the next day and it took about a week and a half to 2 weeks for them to call me back and say I got the job. Keep in mind, had a referral from a friend.
Terrible, if you’re a manager. Team members is a little bit better, but not a lot. The store I work at in like 6 people with a set schedule and that including the GM with is mess up
I put in my application and was emailed the next day by the gm, he was very eager to hire me based on my experience and the interview went great was hired on the spot
I love it!it is my third week on the job.i get to work with some of my friends from elementary school and i love being able to serve the community.i work front line.the managers are friendly, the employees are nice, and most of the customers are friendly.so far i have only had to deal with 1 rude customer.yes, the wages are low,but when you work 4 or 5 hours a night it adds up.i made more in two weeks there than i did in a month with my allowance.i used to get $30 a month for my allowance, but my last paycheck was $88.73 for two weeks.i love my job and i will probably be sticking around for a while.lol
I really think the only problem I have would be to hire more people for night shift instead of hiring for day shift when you already have 10 people working days and 4 at night it's not fair . And hire another manager to help the only manager that wants to work night ... that would be me
